Since 1952, Members are charged Annual Assessments and Lake Use permit fees depending on the property and amenities of each household. These are the various fees collected for the use, operation and maintenance of the lake and its properties.
NEW MEMBER FEES:
All sales of property in Weatherby Lake that create a new WLIC Member (regardless of a member count increase) will result in a fee being collected, according to property class, by the title company at the sale closing. Existing Members purchasing additional or new property, will not be subject to these fees. ANNUAL PROPERTY ASSESSMENT FEE:
This fee was established as a fair and equitable way to pay for the continuing operation, improvement and maintenance of the WLIC and its property. Based on the property type, yearly Assessments are applied to two different funds: 1) General Fund 2) Siltation, Prevention and Dredging Property Type

ANNUAL LAKE PERMIT/USE FEES
Lake Permit Fees are voted upon by the Membership and only require simple majority. These fees do not require court approval because they are not lien-able on property. A Member must have all Assessments paid by March 31 of each year to be a Member in Good Standing, or lake privileges may not be assigned and loss of access space could occur.
