During the active lake season, the WLIC maintains a Water Patrol staff to help ensure the lake remains a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
WLIC WATER PATROL EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION
The WLIC has several Water Patrol and Shore Patrol positions available for mature and responsible leaders. These groups assist lake management with on-the-water safety (outlined in the rules and regulations) and also provide support with shore safety and trespassing deterrence.
Water patrol is primarily responsible for driving a dedicated boat around the lake to supervise that proper boat safety is being employed by lake users and secondarily, to provide assistance to Members in need. Shore patrol is responsible for checking credentials at our private Access Areas and overseeing overall area activities while on foot.

- Ability to understand and communicate community’s water/boating rules and regulations.
- Willingness to approach community members to discuss potential safety violations.
- Boating experience a plus. Will train the right person.
