ANNUAL PERMIT PLACEMENT

Reminder: All previous year's permits and any previous owner/user's Block/Lot IDs should be removed.

Below are general guidelines on how to affix your Annual Permits. Not all dock/craft configurations are represented.  If you have any questions, please call the WLIC Office at 816-741-5556 for clarification.

Dock Identification should be either
1.) 3" letters/numbers
2.) Blue Signs ordered through the WLIC Office.

8' X 12' DOCK: 

Block/Lot ID: On Access Area docks, place on both the Lake-side and Shore-side of the structure. On Lakefront docks, only the Lake-side is required.
Dock Permit: Place on the Lake-side of the dock only.

4 X 24 DOCK:

Block/Lot ID: On WLIC Access Area docks, place Block/Lot ID on the Shore-side and Lake-side of the dock. If your dock is on an improved wall, you may place your Shore-side Block/Lot ID on the side of the dock as shown below. On unimproved walls, either at the shore-side end of the dock or on the side, whichever is most feasible. (3 inch letters/numbers)
Dock Permit: Place on Lake-side of the dock. If you are on a shared dock, ensure that your permit and Block/Lot ID are on the side of the dock that is assigned to you.

LAKEFRONT DOCK:

Block/Lot ID: Place on Lake-side portion of your dock. Lakefront docks DO NOT need Block/Lot ID on the shore side. (3 inch letters/numbers)
Dock Permit: Place on the Lake-side of your dock.

KAYAK RACK & WATERCRAFT:

Block/Lot ID: Place on the upper right corner of aft end (back right corner) of your Kayak (3 inch letters/numbers)
Small Boat Permit: Place on the upper right corner of aft end (back right corner) of your kayak

BOAT & MOTOR:

Block/Lot ID: Place on the upper right corner of aft end (back right corner) of your boat.  (3 inch letters/numbers). 
Boat Permit: Place on the upper right corner of aft end (back right corner) of your boat.
Motor Permit: Place on the back of the motor housing lid.
