RC Boat Permit Application

WLIC REMOTE CONTROL (RC) WATERCRAFT PERMIT APPLICATION

Submission of this application does not constitute approval of watercraft/motor.

In consideration of the issuance of this Permit (even if later revoked), the above WLIC Member promises, agrees, and undertakes as follows:

Members must review the RC watercraft specs with the WLIC. Depending on size and specs, additional inspection may be required. If approved, member must provide proof of purchase.
RC Watercraft Permit & Block/Lot ID is required before the RC Watercraft can be operated.
At ALL times while using an RC Watercraft, the Member or Eligible Lake User MUST BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT.
All RC watercraft, like all other equipment, must be dedicated to Weatherby Lake and cannot be used in any other body of water.
Run time is preferred in the early morning when the water is calm:
1. Gas powered allowed from 9:00 AM to sunset.
2. Electric & wind powered allowed from sunrise to sunset.
Avoid other watercraft and swimmers by at least 100 feet.
Gas & Electric Powered RC Watercrafts over 36 inches long require:
1. A failsafe.
2. A meeting with a WLIC approved representative for a driving competency test.
