WLIC REMOTE CONTROL (RC) WATERCRAFT PERMIT APPLICATION
Submission of this application does not constitute approval of watercraft/motor.
In consideration of the issuance of this Permit (even if later revoked), the above WLIC Member promises, agrees, and undertakes as follows:
- Members must review the RC watercraft specs with the WLIC. Depending on size and specs, additional inspection may be required. If approved, member must provide proof of purchase.
- RC Watercraft Permit & Block/Lot ID is required before the RC Watercraft can be operated.
- At ALL times while using an RC Watercraft, the Member or Eligible Lake User MUST BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT.
- All RC watercraft, like all other equipment, must be dedicated to Weatherby Lake and cannot be used in any other body of water.
- Run time is preferred in the early morning when the water is calm:
- Gas powered allowed from 9:00 AM to sunset.
- Electric & wind powered allowed from sunrise to sunset.
- Avoid other watercraft and swimmers by at least 100 feet.
- Gas & Electric Powered RC Watercrafts over 36 inches long require:
- A failsafe.
- A meeting with a WLIC approved representative for a driving competency test.
